These are the scenario descriptions as well as the # of Players each scenario allows, the races available to play, and the size of the conflict.
Installation Instructions
To install a scenario, copy the EXE into the WARWIND\DATA\NETWORK directory on your hard drive. From that same directory, double-click on the EXE and it will self-extract the scenario .WSC and .LVL files.
Play Instructions
Start War Wind and at the Main Menu, click on the center icon. Choose “Single Player” if you are playing alone, enter your leader’s name, and then select the scenario from the list of available scenarios to play (for example, “Surrounded!”). Assign the computer to a slot (usually the Player 2 slot), and then assign yourself to a player slot (usually the Player 1 slot). If other slots are open, they either have to be “Computer,” “Closed,” or assigned to other players in a multi-play game. When ready, select “Play.”

Another thing that really makes War Wind Scenarios enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to War Wind Scenarios. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
