The object of Tetris is to create horizontal rows of blocks from falling geometric shapes called Tetraminos. Once a row is full, it disappears and the player scores points. Each of the games seven different Tetraminos appear in random order and can be rotated and moved to the left or right as they fall from the top of the screen. The game ends when blocks pile up to the top of the screen without forming any complete rows.
