Poker Poker is played all over the world. It has been called the national card game of the United States and is by far one of the most popular betting games in western civilization.
Poker can take on many forms and it has become a highly evolved game of great skill. Unlike other card games, Poker relies not only on the player’s ability to place cunning bets, but also, the player must be able to strategically out-maneuver their opponent in a strange dance of raises, calls, and checks. It is no wonder that terms such as ‘poker face’ have leaked into our mainstream when we talk about people lying or bluffing!

Another thing that really makes Poker enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times.
