When you have started JigSaw, you first have to load a picture file into the game-area (Select “File”, “Load Picture” or “Clipboard”). The following formats for picture files are supported: *.ICO; *.BMP; *.WMF; *.GIF; *.JPG. If you want to load a picture that uses a different file format, you first have to convert this picture to one of these formats. There are several programs available on bulletin boards or the Internet that will make these conversions for you.
Once the picture is loaded, you are given the opportunity to set the number of pieces you want to play with (Select “Options”).
The next step you have to perform is scrambling the pieces. This can be done manually or automatic. For manual shuffling, just click somewhere on the picture and move the piece to the place you want it to be.
You are now ready to play JIGSAW!

Another thing that really makes JigSaw v2.0.1 enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to JigSaw v2.0.1. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
