Windows-compatible remake of the Commodore game, published in 2001. The player steps into the shoes of legendary martial arts hero Bruce Lee and goes on to a journey in a mysterious temple filled with lethal traps and constantly hunted by two resilient enemies. You’ll have to find your way through numerous screens, each hosting a series of collectible lanterns, which – when all picked up – open the gates to the next few rooms. Bruce will face fire, lightning and various spiky objects trying to survive the temple’s challenge alive, and the difficulty varies strongly – mostly increasing during the game – from easyish lantern-collecting to infernally difficult jump combinations. Recommended to all Commodore and platformer enthusiasts, and to everyone else who doesn’t mind the simple, clean graphics and gameplay.

Another thing that really makes Bruce Lee enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Bruce Lee. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
