Basically, to play Astro Man!, you must be able to solve simple and complex puzzles relating to switches, mazes, etc. For example, there may be a laser shooting through a switch that turns off the electric floor panels. You must find the switch to turn off the laser. Once you flip it, the laser will shut off. However, another set of lasers may turn on, shooting through something else, like the exit teleporter.
A lot of the puzzles are just figuring out which switches to flip in order for you to have a safe path to the exit. Other puzzles are more geared towards mazes, in which you must find your way through a maze of platforms and ladders to get to the exit.

Another thing that really makes Astro Man! enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Astro Man!. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
