Rule number one in this game. Don’t move forward to look for the zombie first. Always assume there is one and shoot everywhere you haven’t been! You won’t always have a chance to see them before they get you.
The option of carrying two weapons by placing one visibly on your back was great. Most games tend to have the main character place a shotgun and a tommygun in his normal-sized pockets out of view for the gamer, but this was really great. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to 10800 Zombies.
