Remember the gameplay of arcade classics like Arkanoid, Breakout, Pong, and Pinball? Now imagine transplanting that classic gameplay into a beautiful 3D environment. Dozens of other games have tried this and failed, and gaming web sites are littered with 3D games that are simply no fun to play. Some are slow and bloated… others have really ugly art… and some are just downright boring.
So what’s so special about Ploing 2 that we decided to publish it???
Well… Ploing 2 has that one special quality that sets it apart from all other 3D arcade games — elegance. Ploing 2 does a brilliant job of capturing that classic arcade essence without being overly complicated… and then it adds just the right dose of creativity to evolve the gameplay into something fresh and new. The game’s gorgeous 3D graphics and lighting effects only serve to enhance your experience, not detract from it. So if you’ve played any other 3D arcade games, you’ll definitely want to check out Ploing 2. It has a unique elegance that’s seriously lacking in similar games.
Ploing 2 is also the first 3D game we’ve ever published. In the past we avoided publishing 3D games because they were always way too big and way too slow. So we were utterly delighted when we found Ploing 2. Here’s a 3D game that packs a great deal of fun into a relatively small download (only 6.4MB for the demo and 19.8MB for the full version). And the system requirements are incredibly reasonable for such a beautiful 3D game (just a Pentium II 300mhz with a basic 3D video card).
Another nice quality of Ploing 2 is that it’s super-easy to learn. There’s even a built-in tutorial to teach you how to play. The game’s controls are also very easy to master. You can control the whole game with just the mouse, or if you prefer, you can use a keyboard or joystick.

Another thing that really makes Ploing 2 enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Ploing 2. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
