Everybody knows how to play Tetris ? no … really ? I think it isn’t worth my making an help system for that game, is it ?
But if you enjoy playing Tetris Light, let me know, send me a postcard from where you’re living so that I can realise how far my program has spread !
My demo-mode is implemented using a simple evaluating function. Experiments with neural-networks have been done, they provide better results. The results I obtained with my game are an average score of 54 lines (for 200 games) and a top at 221. The results obtained by using a neural-network provide an average score about 100 lines with tops greater than 500 lines. The (human) world champion reached the score of 900 lines ! If you reach the score of 100 lines, without any difficulty, you are considered as an expert player.

Another thing that really makes Tetris Light v1.5 enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Tetris Light v1.5. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
