The object of BLOCKS is to remove all of the like blocks (which now actually look like crates with different symbols on them.) from the screen. Blocks disappear when they are aligned with another block of the same kind. They must be perfectly aligned, not just touching. There are times when you will need to match 3 or more blocks at a time, so be careful. A level is completed when all of the blocks have been removed.
It is very possible for you to quickly get into a situation where completion of the level is impossible. When this happens press the BACKSPACE key to start over.
Nothing in this game can “kill” you, meaning there are no monsters and you can live forever. The only other objective of the game is to pick up “prizes,” which have no purpose but to increase your score.
This version comes with 10 levels that you must complete. When you obtain the registered version, you will have more than twice that many, and the additional levels are more difficult.

Another thing that really makes Blocks v2.51 enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Blocks v2.51. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
