Three level platformer inspired with Casablanca (the movie) and a couple of really old games from 8bit era, probably anything from Jack the Nipper(?) to Zorro and also some Game & Watch classics, hardly to be recognized here as the actual influence(s).
Level 1

Save the prisoner by collecting keys and using them to unlock your
way to the top. Avoid rats and spiders and fight (or avoid) cops.
Level 2

Make sure to deliver notes to Sam to play piano as that keeps shady
nazi far from where your contact (Ugarte) will appear. To get drinks,
check the bartender on the second floor and don’t forget the money
in the safe (can be accessed only when Ugarte appears).
Again, avoid or fight cops, avoid rats and spiders too.
Level 3

Lead Lazslo to safety on the first floor and fight (shoot) shady nazi
creatures along the way and make sure Laszlo is not shot (too much).

Another thing that really makes As Time Goes By enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times.
