This patch corrects the following issues detected in the shipping version of NBA Live 98:
* CPU not calling fouls frequently enough.
* If the user saves a userlog with the difficulty as “default”, when the userlog is loaded, the difficulty will reset to “rookie”. The same applies to the shot control.
* Game hanging when inbounding the ball to the backcourt under certain conditions.
* Season Game Wrap-up speech in German saying the same sentence twice.
* Rules reseting to arcade defaults the next time the game is started if “Foul Outs” are set higher than 2.
* Slider for “Floor Shininess” in the details menu always be initialized to 0.
* DELETE and CANCEL userlog buttons mislabeled in German, French, and Spanish.
This patch requires a properly installed version of NBA Live 98 on your hard drive.
Note: This patch will not affect any seasons or playoffs in progress. However, any previously saved user logs will be lost.
If you are playing a modem, serial, or network game, both computers MUST be running the patched version.
