Jason has stolen the Golden Fleece and the Gods are not pleased! As punishment for his crime, Jason must battle to the death with the Furies in Aphrodite’s Temple. Unhappy that her temple is being used as a battlefield, Aphrodite has leveled the playing field. Jason has been given an endless supply of stones, which have been blessed by Aphrodite. These stones can be easily thrown a great distance and can free a tile from the ceiling of the temple. These falling ceiling tiles will destroy the furies if they are struck! Jason must throw his stones with caution, as the furies will multiply if struck by the blessed stone.
“Still No Escape!” is a remake of the Atari 2600 classic “No Escape!”, written by Michael Greene. “No Escape!” was released by Imagic in 1983.

Another thing that really makes Still No Escape! enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Still No Escape!. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
