The goal of the game is quite simple. Put three or more bubbles (balls) of the same colour together, and they will drop off the playing surface. OK, heard that quite often? Kind of Tetris-like you think? Sure, it sounds simple, but read ahead–or play it–before you judge it. You are in control of a ‘cannon’ that fires one of those bubbles into the playing field. The cannon can only be rotated to the left or to the right so that you have to aim carefully to hit the places you want to hit. As soon as the bubble collides, the cannon will be reloaded with the next one. If your misses don’t drive you nuts, the sound effects will! You will have to admit, however, that the Bubble’s facial expressions are adorable……

Another thing that really makes Bubble Puzzle ’97 v1.3c enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Bubble Puzzle ’97 v1.3c. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
