Amida is a kind of Japanese lottery. It is used to decide who is selected to get the prize or to do something nobody wants to do.
The lottery is played by drawing number of vertical lines corresponding to number of players. Horizontal lines are drawn between each vertical lines. Bottom of vertical lines are marked as “win” or “lose”. These settings are hidden from the players. This computer version of the lottery will assign these settings to be fair to everybody.
Now, to start the lottery! Each player select a different vertical line. When selecting, a player may add more horizontal lines. When all players finish selecting a line, “win” or “lose” settings are displayed. Each player traces a line down the selected line moving to an adjacent line whenever there is a horizontal line.

Another thing that really makes Amida v1.00E enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times.
