So you think you’re pretty tough, huh? Having a dispute with a friend or family member and you’re thinking about battling it out? Well there’s no need to get into a real fight… settle your dispute with Future Fighter, the virtual fighting simulator.
This is a two player game, each of you have three lives and when your last life runs out it’s over. You have power punches and killer kicks at your disposal, points are scored based on the focus and effectiveness of each hit, and each hit’s effectiveness is based on your current health level. The top ten winners are shown in the high score table based upon total points scored.
The game’s features include futuristic soundtracks and realistic sound effects, and some scanned photo backdrops. Players can select keyboard or joystick to control the fighters. If you use the Netscape browser you can even directly access my e-mail and web page addresses from the title screen.

Another thing that really makes Future Fighters enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Future Fighters. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
