Game takes place in a medieval world and you take the role of a young boy called Hilbert who desperately wants to become a hero. Very soon his wish comes true as a mysterious woman appears and tells him that he is the last heir of the legendary hero Alexander and it is his destiny to save the world. So Hilbert sets out for a big quest, but before completing it, he has to find out that it takes more to be a hero than just using a sword and fighting enemies…
The plot might sound like it is full of clichés, but in fact it is very story driven and full of surprising twists and you can never be sure what will happen next and who will be good or evil in the end.
The world of “Last Scenario” is quite huge, so you can expect at least 40 hours of gameplay and over 1000 different rooms to explore. Graphics are well made (a beautiful mixture of standard tile sets and original characters and backgrounds) and there is an atmospheric soundtrack as well.
As a special bonus “Last Scenario” includes an addtional card game (Hex) that can be played against many NPCs.
Another thing that really makes Last Scenario enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Last Scenario. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
