Mine Tread is a revamped version of Mined Out by Quicksilva for the ZX Spectrum.
Welcome to the future. TV violence has escalated as much as the thirst for it. Innocent people are dragged off the street to be contestants. None have never been seen again, for no-one has completed Mine Tread. You play such a contestant and you’ll be damned if you are not to see this all the way through
Basically, move your character through the minefield and watch out for the early warning signs of a nearby explosive. There are indicators at the top left of the screen that will light up and tell you if a mine is on the x or y coordinates. The safe areas at the top and bottom are clearly marked.

Another thing that really makes Mine Tread enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
