STARDATE 2140.2: Battles on Distant Planets (BDP) is a collection of battles which take place in a space and time different than our own. Each battle is presented in the form of a scenario which can be selected by you. Although this game presents a common interface for each battle, each is unique in the use and types of units involved, the planetary terrain, lifeforms and tendencies, as well as the strategies and tactics needed to win.
The game is played by each player, moving all, some or none of the player’s units in alternating turns. Each scenario has specific victory conditions and a set number of turns to play.

Another thing that really makes Stardate 2140.2: Battles on Distant Planets v1.9 enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding.
