Stellar Police PC Free Game Download

“Stellar Police” is a Role-Play style video game based on a Commodore 64 action game created with BR0DERBUND’S “Arcade Game Construction Kit” in 1989. The idea had originally been conceived by Erin Flint (who was surprised to find out just how long making these @stupid/damned/damned\ games takes). William-Arthur Hood, who had interested Erin in his long-time hobby of creating video games, liked the idea behind the game and independently created two sequels also using A.G.C.K.
In May, 1993, Hood made the decision to “follow a little dream” and committed his summer to producing a video game for marketing through ShareWare. His original idea of a classic fantasy RPG was scratched when his friend Erin asked to get involved with the project as well. After a long-discussion, it was decided that the new game would be an RPG based on their favorite creation of the past, “Stellar Police.”
To create the game, Hood rewrote an old utility he had made for the C=64 in a format usable on the PC. Also used in the creation were Creative Labs’s “Creative Voice Editor II,” Gary Maddox’s “Blaster Master,” and Osborne/McGraw Hill’s “Sound Blaster: The Official Book.” The language used was Microsoft’s “QuickBasic” compiler. (That’s Right!! THIS is written in BASIC! Who cares what they think, I still say BASIC rules!!)

Another thing that really makes Stellar Police enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Stellar Police. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
