To begin a game you must enter from one to five coins. To bet coins, click on the coin slot with the mouse or press ‘C’ on the keyboard (see Using the Mouse and Keyboard). If you continue to hold down the mouse button or key, coins will be continuously deposited. After five coins are bet the first hand will be dealt. Any additional coins added will be added to your credits.
You may play off of your credits by selecting BET MAX or BET ONE instead of adding coins. BET MAX bets five credits, or all of your credits if you have less than five, and deals the first hand automatically. If you have a winning hand, the name will be highlighted in the payoff table at the top of the screen.
Decide which cards you wish to keep. After selecting those cards to be held, select DEAL to replace those cards you did not hold. A winning hand will be indicated by the name flashing in the payoff table and your credits increasing.

Another thing that really makes Video Poker Fest enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Video Poker Fest. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
