The map displays at both sizable to full screen strategic level and a zoomed in tactical level. Slopes are shown using hachures. Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery, and Commander type units with strengths given in men are available for orders issued every 20 minutes in simulated game time. It can take as little as 2 hours to play, but you may wish to take a weekend and make your decisions with care. There are 9 different speeds of resolution that can be selected.
