In the infinity of space there is a planet with two faces turning around an old, white sun to which it always shows the same side. The other is enveloped in total darkness. On each face life has developed in a different way. The bright side is inhabited by people who call themselves Strefis, the illuminated ones, while the dark side is populated by the Ugeltz, the people of night. No Ugeltz has ever seen a Strefis however each civilisation remembers the other, in legends.
Ugeltz use substance called margin which is the only source of energy and also the currency. But this source slowly runs out. Ugk, the dying king sends his two sons – Rabokk (played by you) and Torg – to seek the legendary Realm of Light, in hope to find new source of energy.
A Second Face was voted best 2008 Adventure Game Studio game and has been translated into several languages.
Another thing that really makes A Second Face – The Eye of Geltz is watching Us enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to A Second Face – The Eye of Geltz is watching Us.
