Hello arcade game lovers! Third Party Software was started by a couple
of guys who love arcade games. But in a world of boring simulations, we
are here to provide high action, good quality arcade type games at a
price everyone can afford. This game is no exception, and we hope you
enjoy it.
The game starts by asking how many players will be playing. Up to 8
(yes I said 8) people can play at one time. The game will then ask what
type of control you will be using, Mouse, Keyboard or Joystick. Enter
the first letter of the control you want to use ( M for mouse ). You can
also change the controls in mid-game by pressing k,j or m. The game
play is simple, protect your cities from nuclear missile attack.

Another thing that really makes Defcon One enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Defcon One. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
