Both games play exactly the same way. Four columns are displayed, and if matching suits exist of the four bottommost cards, the lower card is discarded by double clicking. The difference in the two games exists when an empty column is created.
In ICICLE, the empty column can be filled with ANY King showing on the card tableau. If the King has cards below it, they will be moved with the King.
In DISCARD, any of the bottommost cards from the three remaining non-empty columns can be moved to the top of the empty column. In this game, the covered cards are COMPLETELY covered. Since the object is to leave only the four Kings at the top of the columns, the user must remember where the Kings are as they become covered by other cards.
I have found the DISCARD is easier to win, but requires a bit more thought (in remembering where the Kings are).”

I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Discard. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
