The United Nations, at their December session, 2042, are surprised by an unexpected transmission from an unknown source. The haggard face of a man with a shaven head appears.
The man is obviously insane, and a member of some doomsday cult. He tells the United Nations that unless the entire world bows to his cult they will be sorry.
The United Nations tell the cultist that they will not deal with terrorists, and the cultist terminates the communication. From a warehouse in Missouri a gigantic cloud of small mechanical devices spews forth. Within an hour they encircle the entire earth, blocking out all light, and dooming the earth to a slow death!
All attempts to destroy the sun blocking device fail, and it is extremely holed up, with a signal jammer, so it cannot be bombed or invaded.
The United Nations had no idea what to do until Frank Cook, a small time private detective with a history of investigating cults, suggested a plan.
He would pretend to be a cultist to get into the warehouse, and then see what he could find. The plan was accepted, and Frank prepared to enter the warehouse…
