In real life, fusion is the merging of two lighter atoms to form a heavier
one. The most common form of fusion occurs inside the Sun, with hydrogen
fusing to form helium. The actual game has nothing to do with any of this.
Fusion is a game of falling multicolor bricks. Connect blocks of the same
color to make them disappear. Critical mass is level plus two. So on level
one, you need three blocks to make them disappear. On level two, you need
four. On level nine you need eleven blocks. Big piles are worth more points
than several smaller piles. Connections may be horizontal, vertical or
diagonal.
On level two and above a special chain reaction rule is in effect. The energy
created by a fusion reaction lowers the threshold for any blocks remaining.
For example, on level three when you fuse a pile of five blocks, all piles
of four also fuse. If a pile of four goes, the program checks for piles of
three. Piles of two are never set off.

Another thing that really makes Fusion enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Fusion. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
