Girlfriend Construction Set is designed especially for all you
pencil neck computer geeks (like me) who can’t get a real date.
Come on, guys – GET A LIFE! In the meantime, this game will give you
some practice in the fine art of dating. But unlike real life, you don’t
have to take pot luck in your choice of women. You get to construct your own!
You start with 50 status points which you can spend on the ten attributes
of the girlfriend you are creating. Make her an average “5” in all ten areas.
Or boost your favorite areas. (at the expense of others) Spend all or some
of your available points on her.
Then take her out on the town. (or the world) If you treat her right
and don’t make a fool of yourself, you can increase your status points. But
if you screw up, your status drops, and if it drops below her total points,
she’ll dump you. You can dump your current girlfriend anytime and construct
a new one using your newly increased status points. Eventually, when your
status reaches 100, you can construct The Perfect Woman.
Your ultimate goal is to get into the BIG PARTY. But they won’t let just
anybody into the Mansion. You and your date must both be Perfect. If they
kick you out, though, don’t give up. Keep trying. Eventually they’ll let you
in. If you are Perfect.

Another thing that really makes Girlfriend Construction Set enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Girlfriend Construction Set. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
