MegaCount, version 3.1 is feature-rich when compared to its ancestors. Earlier versions of this amazing counting program allowed for only one method of counting: Forward. The program only counted from 1 to 1 million, in that order. Many users found that quite limiting.
The simple fact is that many real life situations demand a different order of counting. An obvious instance is reverse, or backward counting, from 1 million down to 1. This method, overlooked in versions 1 and 2, is now an important part of version 3.
Two other counting modes are included to increase your counting productivity. They are Random and Voodoo. Random counts all the numbers from 1 to 1 million, but in no particular order. Voodoo Counting calls upon the Haitian Spirit Fark’Nor, who does the counting for you, using your computer and MegaCount as a medium. IguanaSoft does not recommend using this feature during the early morning hours, as Fark’Nor tends to get upset when woken from his slumber.

Another thing that really makes MegaCount v3.1 enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to MegaCount v3.1. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
