The year is 1985. An arcade game classic is born. It blasts through consoles across the world and sets a prescedent for 2D space shooters for years to come…
Fast forward to today. Monkeys Odyssey brings you all the fun of that classic game with all the things that made it great and more. With fifty levels of action packed warzones, take your monkey and pilot his warpod into the vast reaches of space. It’s kill or be killed, but don’t fret. You don’t have to be alone.
You can go it alone or bring a friend and play cooperatively. Collect powerups along the way which can help you out. Collect the Backfire power-up and fire both in front of and behind you. The Velocity powerup makes you move faster. There is a 4-way powerup, Growth, Shrink, Fire Rate increase, Power Shot, and the ever popular Random Powerup.
And what game about Monkeys would be complete without bananas? When destroyed, various enemies and obstacles will provide you with bananas. Collect as many as you can, and earn additional lives. Believe us when we tell you, that you’ll need them. Think Easy mode is too easy? Try it on Normal, or Difficult. Compare how you stack up against others by submitting your scores to our high scores server. And if you happen to lose your top ranking, feel free to try again and again until you get it back. Good luck, because you’re going to need it. And if you can maintain the top ranking on the most difficult level, then you’ve proven yourself to be the top monkey.

Another thing that really makes Monkeys Odyssey enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Monkeys Odyssey. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
