The year is 1999, alien invaders have destroyed much of the earth. From
your command bunker, you will guide a radio controlled space craft and
do battle with the evil forces that want to destroy you and your kind.
Your radio controlled space craft is equipped with a full blown high
powered laser that can burn through almost anything. From your command
center you control your ship and it’s weapon tracking system. Your
target tracker gives you up to the second coordinates and indicates when
it has a “lock-on” an enemy target, you make the decision to fire. Your
ship is powered by a remote energy source. Your laser uses power, your
ships engines use power, any enemy bombs that get through will sap your
power, if you get to near the planets surface you will lose power at an
alarming rate. Don’t run out of power, you will crash and die on the
planets surface.

Another thing that really makes Space Blaster enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Space Blaster. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
