Welcome to WinBrickout 4.0. This completely new, entirely rewritten version far surpasses the capabilities of MacBrickout 3.x. As expected, the object of the game is still the same: Using a ball and a paddle, bash all of the bricks out of a wall to complete the level. Try to advance through all of the levels to win the game. Along the way, catch falling capsules to gain (or possibly lose) special powers. Watch out! Evil bubbles can deflect the ball and foil your efforts.
Added features include bomb balls which will take out virtually anything in their path once you set off the explosion, radiation balls, an umphee that walks in the sand whose hard shell will bounce the ball back into play, hidden fruits and vegetables, and much more!
WinBrickout 4.0 is designed to pick up where MacBrickout 3.x left off. Consequently, these new levels are more challenging. I’ve included all of the original 3.x levels with WinBrickout 4.0. If you find the new levels too hard, you can select the 3.0 levels (from the file menu) and brush up on your skills.

Another thing that really makes WinBrickout 4.23 enjoyable for me is how it manages to stay interesting even after playing it multiple times. Many games feel repetitive after a while, but here, the experience still feels fresh because of the small details and different ways you can approach the gameplay. As you continue playing, you naturally start improving and understanding the mechanics better, which makes everything feel more rewarding. I also appreciate the balance the game maintains—it’s not too difficult, but it’s not too easy either. You can play it casually for a short break or spend longer sessions without getting bored. That flexibility is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to WinBrickout 4.23. Overall, it’s the kind of game that doesn’t just entertain you for a moment, but actually gives you a consistently enjoyable experience every time you play.
